In the words of Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the first Batman movie: “Life’s been good to me.” In the two days since the last update we’ve successfully taken down two more BWL bosses!

It all started out normally enough. Thursday night, well, what the hell, we did so well last night, we might as well have another practice session tonight right? Well to tell you the truth we were having a bit of an off night. We were trying a few position changes and we were making a few mistakes. Then all of a sudden…what’s this?? The first three people to get hit with BA weren’t Priests? The tank transitions are going smoothly?? Our DPS is high?! We…might..JUST…DO THIS!!

Things got a bit hectic around the last percent or two, but we managed it and came out with a victory.

Last night we figured, hey what the hell. We’ll get rolling on MC, then hit Onyxia when she comes up, and then go back to BWL and wreak some more havoc on Nefarion’s forces. We cleared MC through Shazzrah, then smoked Onyxia (loot below) like it wasn’t no thang and headed back to BWL.

Let me tell you, those stupid suppression devices in the next two rooms SUCK ASS, but they sure make things interesting.

Now, I have to say, I’m a bit upset with some other guilds that have done Brood Lord…it’s been said many times that he is a “loot vending machine”. So when we cleared everything up to him, I walked right up, stuck a quarter in his ass, expecting some nice new loot to come out…NOT THE CASE! All I got for my quarter was a Mortal Strike
upside the melon :/ go ahead and laugh it up, you guys got me, but it won’t happen again…I’m watching you all much more closely from now on.

But seriously, he’s not that hard. The first time we accidentally pulled him early, even though we weren’t done explaining the fight, people didn’t know where to stand or what to do, we managed to get him down to 10%. The
second try he went down like a ton-o-bricks and we scored some more loot:

I won’t go into details about what happened next…let it suffice to say that Bucktaur and I have a ’special relationship’.

People started getting tired and logging out at this point, but we went back and re-cleared all the trash mobs behind us (since they won’t repop anymore) and pulled a couple groups of trash mobs from the next room to score some Elementium for Dagron. Unfortunately Ginn looted it, so we got Elementrium instead of Elementium, plus Gron and Condor weren’t there…it was a mess. So to make a long story short, we’re not sure if it’ll still work or not, but we’ll give it a shot

Then some crazy Rogues got the great idea of stealthing through the rest of the instance and pulling the lever to release Chromaggus. I dunno about the rest of the raid…but I HAD FUN!

It’s been a while without an update! Well, here it is, so you can all return from the edge of your seats!

A lot of big things have happened in the world of EG this past week and a half or so. We downed Razorgore for the second time, Joke hit puberty*, and we made some more progress on Vael.

I took the time to write this at 3:30am Thursday morning, as a means of venting frustration. At what you might ask? Only moments ago, while minding my own business, I was mercilessly slaughtered by several members of the guild “Noob Slayers”. Therefore, through simple deductive reasoning, being as that I was slain by these “Noob
Slayers” I myself must be a noob…how depressing, and all this time I thought I was l337! :/

It’s times like this that I turn to my good friends for consolation: Hard Liquor, and Reflection. As my mind wonders, allow me to tie the two together in a rather humorous way. The epitaph on my great Grandfather’s tombstone reads as follows:
